JIMMY CARL`S LITTLE MUSIC STORE ONLINE: INKANISH MUSIC
Jimmy has quite a few cd`s for sale that you just can't find except in his little music shop. Help me with my sometime (in the future) semi-retirement plan and I`ll love you forever. --- Jimmy Carl Black
1. "When do we get Paid?" released in 1995 and is a collection of Jimmy`s recordings never released. Archive stuff (that happens to be good). See my website under discrography and listen to an audio clip.
2. "Brown, Black, and Blue" A rare CD from the legendary Arthur(the God of Hell Fire)Brown and Jimmy Carl Black. This was recorded in Austin, Texas in 1988 when Jimmy and Arthur were painting houses together. They had a company called "The Gentlemen of Colour" and got some of the best blues players in Austin to record on this disc. A must for collecters and music lovers.
3."Black Limosine" and "Cataract Jump" from Jimmy`s blues band in Germany. The "Jump" CD was released in 1996 and the "Limosine" CD was released in 1999. If you love the blues both of these CD are great. The band is still very active and has been for the last five years.
4. "Frankincense", "MuffinZ", and "God Shave the Queen" are three CD`s Jimmy did with The Muffin Men from Liverpool, England that he has been touring with every year since 1995. The band plays the music of Frank Zappa and Capt. Beefheart and a couple of Jimmy`s songs. If your into this kind of music then these CD`s will certainly fill your teenage hearts with joy.
5."Cockroach Albert" and "Secrets of Crater Six" are two CD`s Jimmy recorded with the German based avent-garde band Behind the Mirror. A very good showing if this your cup of tea. I like it myself even if I hadn`t recorded on it. It`s really funny and serious at the same time.
6."Welcome Back Geronimo Black" has just been didgitly re-mastered and is new. It`s a CD that Jimmy has wanted to put out for a long time on CD format. It really sounds great and brings back memories of some good times and music of the early `70`s. NEWS: Just Released!!
7."Eating the Astoria" is the new CD from the legendary band "The Grandmothers" and was recorded (with a lot of overdubs in Sandro`s studio in Rome, Italy) live at the Astoria Theater in London, England in 1998. Bunk Gardner joined the band for that tour and is sounding very good. A must for Mothers lovers since there is a lot of that music from the era in the recordings. It is available as of about three weeks ago. NEW$%&! Just released and for sale!!
