Washington Post theatre critic, Richard Coe, was one of Lady Helen's dearest friends. I took this picture in Dick's home in 1991. Coe, who passed away in 1995, said this was his most cherished photo with his good friend, and projected this photo behind him during a star-studded Helen Hayes memorial held at the Schubert Theatre in 1993.
